GIC 2011 will take place at the Conference Center of the Heinrich-Boell-Foundation. Registration will take place at the office of the Young Greens Germany.

The office of the Young Greens is located in the heart of Berlin near the main train station. It is north of the GIC 2011 conference center, described below. On Wednesday, August 24, 2011, registration will take place at this place. If you arrive after August 24 please go to the conference center directly.

How to get there:

At Berlin main train station, take the exit to the north and then go to the right along the 'Invalidenstraße'. After 900 meter turn right again to the 'Hessische Straße', your destination.
Otherwise take the buses 123, 147, 240, 245 or N40 and get of at the first stop called 'Invalidenpark'. Then walk only a few more meters until 'Hessische Straße' is on the right side.

Conference Center of the Heinrich-Boell-Foundation

How to get there:

You may walk to the conference center from the main train station. You have to take the exit on the southern side of the train station and walk to the Spree river. Then turn left and go along the river side (you have to cross a bridge) until you reach a crossing. Then turn left to 'Reinhardtstraße', walk 250 meters (passing two crossings) and then the conference center is on your left.

For public transportation you may take Bus 147 to the station 'Deutsches Theater' and walk approximately 150 meters.
You can also take the S-Bahn to Friedrichstraße and exit at 'Albrechtstraße' (not barrier-free) and walk for 250 meters. Or exit at 'Friedrichstraße' and walk 750 meters (or Bus 147)
Another option is the station 'Oranienburger Tor', which can be reached by subyway U6 or Tram M1, M6, M12. There you have to walk around 500 meters to the conference center.
