We'd like to thank these generous organisations for their outstanding support. Without them, this conference wouldn't have been possible.

The Heinrich Boell Foundation

The Heinrich Böll Foundation is part of the Green political movement that has developed worldwide as a response to the traditional politics of socialism, liberalism, and conservatism. Its main tenets are ecology and sustainability, democracy and human rights, self-determination and justice. It places particular emphasis on gender democracy, meaning social emancipation and equal rights for women and men. It is also committed to equal rights for cultural and ethnic minorities and to the societal and political participation of immigrants. Finally, it also promotes non-violence and proactive peace policies.

The Heinrich Boell Foundation is providing us its conference center.

Youth in Action

Youth in Action is the Programme the European Union has set up for young people. It aims to inspire a sense of active European citizenship, solidarity and tolerance among young Europeans and to involve them in shaping the Union's future.

The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Agency Executive Agency (EACEA) is responsible for the management of certain parts of the Youth in Action programme under supervision from its parent Directorate-General for Education and Culture (DG EAC of the European Commission).
